As Papillion continues to grow so will the library and the services it provides. You can support the library with a tax-deductible donation to the Papillion Library Foundation.

Friends of the Library Used Bookstore

The bookstore is staffed completely by volunteers. All donations can be dropped off at the Circulation Desk. All proceeds go to the Friends of the Library whose mission is to      support and promote the library. The only donations not accepted are textbooks, computer manuals, encyclopedias, and Readers’ Digest condensed books. (Bookstore Hours)

Friends of the Library

Friends of Papillion’s Sump Memorial Library invite you to become a member of a growing non-profit volunteer citizen’s group. We are community-minded individuals who have a special interest in supporting our public library. Meetings are bi-monthly in the      evenings. Dues and fundraising monies are used to support and promote the library and supplement the library budget. If you believe in the importance of reading, gaining information through print and technology, cultural activities, and libraries, we hope you will join us.

Memberships

• Active Member: $5.00 (volunteer in the library or bookstore)
• Contributing Member: $10.00 (no volunteering necessary)
• Lifetime Member: $50.00 (no yearly fee)

Board of Trustees

The Library Board of Trustees are appointed by the Mayor and City Council to be the governing body for the Library.

The Library Board of Trustees meets every fourth Monday at 4:30pm. The minutes from the meetings can be found on the Posts page under the category “Trustees”.
