Story Times - Please join us for our Story Times filled with age-appropriate stories, songs, and finger plays! Check the calendar for dates and details. Please provide advance notice if you want to bring a large group to a Story Time. Always alert staff to any food allergies before allowing children to participate in the programs. When Papillion/LaVista Schools are closed due to inclement weather, programming will not be held.
Toddler Story Time – Mon, Tue & Thu, 9:45-10:15am. Ages 1-3 years.
Story Time – Wed & Fri, 10:30-11am. All ages welcome.
Baby Play – Tue & Thu, 9:15-9:45am. Birth to 12 months.
Show & Share Story Time – Thu, 6:30pm. All ages welcome.
Drop-In LEGOs – Tuesdays from 1-3pm. Come build with us.
Family Science Time – Wednesdays from 1-1:45pm. Help your child explore science. Parental involvement required.

Discover, Imagine, Explore – Fridays from 10am-12pm. Let your child explore and learn at stations that support creativity, pre-math concepts, sorting and building, learn about community helpers, encourage music and movement and enhance literacy.
Reading in Motion (A Sensory Friendly Story Time) – Feb 14th at 9:45am. We read, we sing, we use puppets and we rarely sit still! This Story Time is designed to engage children ages 2-8 through movement, music, stories and play. It is open to all children! If your child has difficulty sitting through one of the library’s other story times, this inclusive program is just what you are looking for!
Love is in the Air: Valentine’s day Fun! Feb 14th from 10:30-11:30am. Bring your sweetheart for Valentine’s Day stories, games, crafts & treats. Ages 2-8.
The 2015 Seed Share is Saturday, January 31st from 12-2pm in the library’s meeting room. Interested in growing your own food or flowers? Meet and visit with other local gardeners while sharing excess seeds. Many seeds will be available, including organic, heritage, and heirloom plant varieties. Food growing advice and local gardening resource information will also be available. Please bring envelopes for your seeds.
Brown Baggers meets every 3rd Wednesday at 12pm in Meeting Room 50.
Bonding With Bindings meets every 2nd Thursday at 7pm in Meeting Room 50.
Club Knit meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm. Is a group of beginning and experienced knitters that get together to knit. Love to knit or want to learn how? Join us! It’s great for all ages.
Artists in Motion
Artists in Motion meets at the library on the first Friday of the month from 9am-1pm. It is a group of local artists that get together to do art. All artists are welcome!
