Story Times

Please provide advance notice if you want to bring a large group to a Story Time.

  • Toddler Time (Mon, Tue, Wed) from 9:45-10:15 am for ages 12 months to 3 years. Program includes stories, songs, puppets and fun!
  • Baby Play (Tue) from 9:15-9:45 am for ages birth to 12 months. Even the earliest listener can enjoy some stories and learn to love reading!
  • Story Time (Wed, Thu, Fri) from 10:30-11:00 am.
  • Evening Story Time (Thu) from 6:30-7:00 pm

Other Activities

  • Lego Club (Tue) from 1:00-2:30 pm for all ages. Build it up & then break it down! Bring your cameras, we will not be saving creations from one week to the next.
  • After Schooling Gaming (Tue & Thu) from 3:30-5:30 for grades K-12. xBox Kinect & GameCube will be available plus lemonade and snacks.
  • Family Drop-In Crafts every 3rd Thursday of the month from 3-4:30pm.
  • Teen’s Meet every 2nd & 4th Mondays of the month from 4-5pm.

Always alert staff to any food allergies before allowing children to participate in the programs.

When Papillion/LaVista Schools are closed due to inclement weather, programming will not be held.

Adult Events

Book Clubs

Brown Baggers meets every 3rd Wednesday at 12:00pm in Meeting Room 50.

Bonding With Bindings meets every 2nd Thursday at 7:00pm in Meeting Room 50.

Club Knit

Club Knit meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month at 6:30 pm. (Beginners and experienced knitters get together to knit.)

Friday Morning Coffee Bar

Enjoy a free cup of coffee and catch up on your favorite magazine or newspaper on Fridays (October-March 9am-1pm).

Bloodmobile

Give whole blood or apheresis donations the 2nd Wednesday of the month (August-May).
