Santa visits Story Times on Thursday, December 19th at 6:30pm & Friday, December 20th at 10:30am. Bring your cameras!
Please join us for our Story Times filled with age-appropriate stories, songs, and finger plays! Check the calendar for dates and details. Please provide advance notice if you want to bring a large group to a Story Time. Always alert staff to any food allergies before allowing children to participate in the programs. When Papillion/LaVista Schools are closed due to inclement weather, programming will not be held.
Toddler Story Time: M, TU & W 9:45m, TU 10:30am. Ages 12 months to 3 years.
Story Time: W, TH & F 10:30am. All Ages Welcome.
Baby Play: TU & TH (starting Jan 9) 9:15am. Birth to 12 months.
Evening Story Time: TH 6:30pm. All Ages Welcome.

Video Creation Workshop on Saturday, January 4th from 10-Noon. Learn how edit your videos on your computer.
Author Fair on Saturday, January 11th from 2-4pm. A panel of local authors and publishers speak about the publishing process. Over thirty local authors will be available to discuss, sign, and sell their books.
Monday at the Movies: Ping Pong on January 13th at 7:00 p.m. Call this old age, extreme edition. Seven players compete in the Over 80 World Table Tennis Championships. This event is a collaboration with POV, the award-winning independent film series on PBS.
Tuesday Night Women’s Self Defense Classes on January 14th, January 28th, & February 11th from 7-8pm. Call the library to register; space is limited.
Craft for a Cause on Thursday, January 16th, 10:30-11:30 am. Knit or crochet scarves, hats, or mittens for the children at Project Harmony. Show support for those who have suffered from abuse and neglect.
Facebook For Beginners on Saturday, January 25th, 10-Noon. Learn how to setup, use and manage a Facebook account.
Cooking for One or Two on Thursday, January 30th at 7pm. Tips on healthy, quick, and affordable cooking for one or two from the Sarpy County Extension office. Make a recipe to take home!
The next Romance Book Club will be December 17th at 7:00pm. This month’s chosen read is The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie by Jennifer Ashley, a great romance and fascinating look at how autism was viewed and “treated” in the 1800s. Pick up a copy of this book at the library front desk. We will also recap October’s book selections: Beautiful Bastard by Christina Lauren or Mr. Darcy Takes a Wife by Linda Berdoll.
